RS PRO Beige Polyetheretherketone PEEK Rod, 300 mm x 36 mm Diameter
This RS PRO PEEK (polyetheretherketone) rod is designed for manufacturing lightweight components with excellent strength and durability. Its outstanding chemical resistance and maximum operating temperature of +260°C make it appropriate for use in demanding industrial environments.
As it's resistant to high temperatures and wear, the PEEK material is ideal for manufacturing valve timing drives and components in high-performance applications. It can also be used to make steam and water mixers as it won't degrade in steam or high-pressure water applications. As it can absorb over 1000 Mrads (Megarads) of radiation without losing its mechanical properties, it's a popular choice for nuclear research.
This product has been engineer-tested for quality and reliability. It's commonly used in the motorsports and automotive industries.
