RS PRO Beige Polyetheretherketone PEEK Rod, 300 mm x 30 mm Diameter


Designed for quality and durability, this beige polyetheretherketone PEEK rod is useful for demanding applications in heavy-duty environments.

It measures 300 mm in length and 30 mm in diameter and has a high tensile strength of 180 MPa. Made from PEEK GF30, it's resistant to chemicals, hydrolysis, abrasion, radiation and other harsh environmental conditions. It's electrically insulating and is safe for use at temperatures up to +260°C.

Part of the RS PRO series, this product has been tested for safety and reliability. It's rated UL 94 V-0 by international science safety company Underwriters Laboratories, meaning it's self-extinguishing within 10 seconds. It also meets the Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN, or German Institute of Standardisation) and American Society for Testing and Materials standards for the testing of plastics and elastomers.

Readily machinable and suitable for various applications, this PEEK rod is commonly used for plug connectors, support rings and insulators.
