Honeywell Technologies Pressure SensorBoard 6 SMT

This gauge pressure sensor measures pressure relative to ambient and provides ratiometric analogue or 12-bit digital output suitable for board-mounted applications. It is calibrated and temperature-compensated via an on-board ASIC to deliver frequently updated outputs and is designed for use with either dry gases or, with a protective gel option, non-corrosive liquids. The device operates from a single low-voltage supply and is intended for Compact electronic assemblies requiring precise pressure monitoring.

It provides a ratiometric analogue output or a 12-bit digital output compatible with I2C or SPI interfaces and updates calibrated values at approximately 1 kHz analogue and 2 kHz digital.

Dry gases are permitted for the standard option, the liquid media option adds a silicone-based gel under port P1 to allow non-corrosive liquids and condensation exposure, with port materials compatible with specific polymers, Ceramics and metals.

An on-board ASIC performs calibration and temperature compensation across offset, sensitivity and non-linearity to maintain accuracy within the compensated temperature range.

It is supplied for board mounting in DIP, SMT or leadless SMT packages and can be configured with a single axial barbed pressure port for straightforward tubing connection.

Versions with appropriate coatings and materials have been tested and certified to BPA-free, LFGB and NSF-169 standards.
