Fluke Pressure Calibrator, 2 Bar Maximum Pressure Measurement, ±0.015 % Accuracy - FLUKE-718 30

This handheld pressure calibrator is a compact, battery-powered instrument designed to generate and measure pressure while simultaneously reading current for field calibration of transmitters, gauges and switches. It operates across a negative to positive pressure span and is intended for on-site diagnostic and maintenance tasks in automation, electronics, electrical and mechanical environments.

Features & Benefits

• ±0.015% mA accuracy for precise loop measurement and validation
• 0.1 mbar resolution pressure calibrator for fine pressure discrimination
• Battery powered pressure calibrator 20 h typical runtime for extended field work
• Portable pressure calibrator ±0.015% accuracy with integrated pump for single‑tech use
• Pressure calibrator −850 mbar to 2 bar native range for low-to-mid pressure systems
• LCD pressure calibrator Alkaline battery operation for simple battery replacement

**Applications**

• Suitable for commissioning and checking pressure transmitters in process plants
• Ideal for testing pressure switches and performing switch trip verification
• Used with control‑loop maintenance to measure and source 4–20 mA signals
• Can be used for on‑site gauge calibration where portability is required

What power source does it use and how many batteries are required?

It uses standard 9V alkaline cells and requires two batteries in the unit for normal operation.

How does the tool cope if process fluid reaches the pump?

The pump includes protected check valves and a removable valve assembly that can be cleaned in the field to remove residue.

What measurement functions are available to capture transient behaviour?

It provides zero, minimum, maximum and hold functions Plus damping to Record changing values during tests.

What loop drive capability does it provide for powering transmitters?

It can supply loop power up to 24V dc and drive 20 mA into 1000 Ω with adequate battery voltage.

How is pressure displayed and what simultaneous data is visible?

The LCD shows a five‑digit pressure reading alongside the measured current for concurrent pressure and mA observation.
