Allen Bradley High Speed Counter Module


Complete your PLC system with the High Speed Counter Encoder Module by Allen Bradley. High speed counter modules for programmable controllers are designed to capture inputs of high frequencies. Counter modules are used often in PLC systems and work by counting up or down until a limit is reached.

This module is perfect for use with quadrature encoders up to 50kHz, and suits 5//02 or higher CPU’s. It also offers compare, range, rate and sequencer modes of operation.

• 4 isolated transistor outputs (5 to 30Vdc sink)
• Count range -32767 to +32767
• Internal (program) and external reset
• 5V encoder inputs (12 and 24Vdc with pull-up resistors)
• 12 preset on/off points in range/rate modes
• Presets can be changed in run mode
• Backplane current (@5Vdc): 320mA
