RS PRO Depth Micrometer, Range 0 mm to 6.5 mm
This RS PRO micrometer is used to accurately measure depth, such as a drilled hole or shallow groove. It's MADE of steel with a satin chrome finish, so it's built to last and has excellent corrosion resistance. The finish also reduces the amount of glare on the barrel's surface, making it easy to take accurate readings in a wide range of lighting conditions.
The end of the micrometer has a knurled grip on it, which means you can easily hold it in your fingers, with or without gloves. The micrometer has an accuracy of 0.005 mm, making it suitable for precision engineering projects, such as fabricating slide bearing assemblies. Micrometers like this one are often used by engineers and mechanics to measure the depth of small holes or bores.
