RS PRO Miniature Circuit Breaker Lockout


From the trusted brand RS PRO comes a miniature lockout device for electricians. This locking device is used to restrict access to a circuit breaker once it has been switched off and ensures the safety of the engineers while maintenance work is in progress.

How does it work?


This lockout is quick and easy to install simply place the lever on the circuit breaker in the off position, press the lockout device push button to expand the pins then insert it into the holes on either side of the circuit breaker casing. Secure with a safety padlock and you are good to go.

Why would you need a safety lockout?


Lockouts are vital safety devices that should be used always to ensure a circuit is not switched on inadvertently. If multiple engineers are working with the system a hasp, tag and individual padlocks can be attached, and only when all devices have been removed will the system be safe to reactivate.
