RS PRO Gauge Block Set Steel Metric, 47 piece With UKAS Calibration

Providing the accuracy you need across a broad range of scales, this gauge block set is essential for precise calibration and measurement. It comprises 47 different pieces, which can be used separately or in combination to determine the exact distances between surfaces.

Each gauge block is made from high-quality steel, which has been heat-treated for hardness and durability. Their surfaces have also gone through an ultra-micro-lapping process to give the incredibly flat, smooth finish that's necessary for fitting blocks together as closely as possible – a method known as 'wringing'. The blocks come in a fitted wooden case.

Each set has a UKA 5 point calibration certificate and the heat-treatment process for the steel is certified HRC65/HV820. These gauge block sets are used to calibrate engineering equipment and other measuring devices, and for fine machining applications in manufacturing or construction settings.
