RS PRO ZnPt Steel 1 Coil Spring Washer, M3


This spring coil washer from RS PRO is used to prevent the loosening of nuts due to vibration. As it's tightened under load, the ends of the washer grab the nut and bind against it for a secure grip. It's made of steel material which is known for its durability so it's long-lasting. A zinc plated finish also provides improved resistance to corrosion, so you don't have to worry about decay due to rust.

The split in the spring washer absorbs the initial turning force of the screwdriver and visually closes under the weight of the bolt, so it doesn't get in the way when it's being tightened. This washer is ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications where it may be exposed to corrosion and vibration.
