It asserts an active-low reset signal whenever the supply voltage drops below a preset threshold, helping prevent erratic behaviour during brownouts or power-up. The device features a push-pull output stage, eliminating the need for external pull-up resistors, and guarantees a minimum reset pulse duration of 140 ms for stable operation.
