RS PRO 3 Phase 8.14 kVA Variac, 3 Outputs, 415 V, 10 A


This variable transformer from RS PRO offers a voltage-adjustable source of alternating current (AC) electricity. Its rugged, enclosed construction means it's built to last and almost entirely maintenance-free.

This transformer has a silver-plated commutator for smooth linear output. There's zero waveform distortion and built-in overload protection and it regulates well, thanks to the continuously variable alternating current voltage and overvoltage tap. A low magnetising current and low operating torque make for a very efficient appliance.

This transformer is part of RS PRO's professional series of 'Varivolt' transformers, which come in single as well as three-phase versions and a range of current settings. It can be surface or wall-mounted as well as fitted to the floor, with the screw terminals supplied for easy mounting.

These variable transformers are used for power conversions, audio systems and power transmission and distribution applications in both domestic and industrial settings.
