With its heavy-duty construction, this enclosed-style RS PRO variac transformer is an efficient way to supply electricity between two circuits. Its durable, requires minimal maintenance and is built to last. You can mount it to surfaces and walls alike.
The transformer has a silver-plated commutator to reverse your electrical current. In addition to this, it features a low operating torque and a low magnetising current, giving it an efficient level of regulation. It has a continuously variable alternating current output voltage with an overvoltage tap too. The result is a great overload capacity, a smooth and linear output, and zero waveform distortion.
The transformer is used in household and industrial environments for control panels, enclosures or process control equipment. Its part of our professional range of single-phase encapsulated transformers and comes fully compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards for safety.
