RS PRO Straight Flute M4 Tap and Drill Set


A tough straight flute threading tap designed to cut a precise, clean M4 thread and the corresponding 3.3mm drill bit.

A versatile tap and drill set for use on a wide range of materials including metal, wood and plastic and designed for power tool use.

Both the M4 tap and the drill bit are constructed from High Speed Steel (HSS) for a temperature and corrosion resistant, durable set that won’t crack or splinter under pressure or when used at high speeds. The drill bit features a 118⁰ point angle and is chemically blackened and ground for increased hardness.

As a straight flute thread the tap is perfect for cutting threads on blind or through holes, capturing the chips in the flutes to leave a clean thread for bolts and fittings.
