The Sauter thickness gauge has a maximum measuring range of 1250μm. It is small, light in weight and easy to carry. It has sensors that can measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings and also a non-magnetic coating on non-magnetic metals. It is suitable for laboratory as well as for use under harsh field conditions.
