Regulate the temperature of an enclosed space using this thermostat switch from Honeywell. It's a close-on-rise switch, meaning the thermostat's contacts will close when it reaches the set temperature of +75°C. This activates the cooling system to prevent overheating. The contacts will reopen when it reaches the opening temperature of +60°C, reactivating the thermostat. A bi-metallic thermostat comes with two strips made of different metals that respond to temperature changes. When temperature increases, one of the strips expands and bends. This causes the circuit to break and cuts off the power until the temperature lowers.
