The STMicroelectronics intelligent inertial measurement unit is a high end, low noise, low power six Axis IMU that provides simultaneous low g and high g acceleration detection. It integrates a three Axis digital low g accelerometer with a range of 16 g, a three Axis digital high g accelerometer with a range of 256 g, and a three Axis digital gyroscope. This Advanced sensor features a quad channel architecture that processes acceleration and angular rate data across four separate channels, including user interface, optical image stabilization, electronic image stabilization, and high g accelerometer data. With dedicated configuration, processing, and filtering, along with a specialized high g sensor for shock detection, the device delivers exceptional performance and reliability for demanding applications.
