The design of the rugged PLUGTRAB PT-IQ surge protection module system is such that
it is not possible to incorrectly connect each module, it is easily extended with each controller monitoring and supplying up to 28 protective devices and each module locks securely in place it makes this system particularly suited to provide reliable protection in tough conditions.

The Phoenix Contact's surge protection base element has maximum ease of maintenance thanks to the two-piece design. Easy selection for all possible demands in MCR applications with a complete product portfolio. The signal is not influenced during maintenance work, thanks to the impedance-neutral insertion and removal of protective plugs.

Voltage surges, often referred to as spikes or transients are typically caused by switching of fluorescent lights, fuses blowing or nearby lightning activity.
