RS PRO, 1.5 kVA Portable Isolation Transformer, 230 V ac, 2 x 16 A


This standalone RS PRO portable isolation transformer can be used to isolate a standard European 230 V mains voltage supply. It has a high-quality design that’s light, robust and is made with your safety in mind.

The separating transformer has a thermal-magnetic trip that reduces any chance of overload. This keeps you safe from electric shock by isolating your connected tools from the power supply, while also being easy to reset by hand. The transformer is encased in GRP (glass fibre-reinforced polyester), is easy to carry and is fitted with a 16 A Schuko plug for your connection.

This type of safety site transformer is commonly used with power tools in industrial settings. It’s produced in the UK and conforms to BSEN 61588 standards, complying with reduced low-voltage regulations for your safety.
