This portable isolation transformer is part of our tried-and-tested RS PRO range. It's suitable for applications where a 110 V voltage supply needs to be isolated. Its functional design makes it sturdy and light, whilst also considering your safety at all times.

This type of safety site transformer is frequently used in industrial settings with power tools. There's a thermal-magnetic trip on the separating transformer that stops it overloading. This prevents you from receiving an electric shock, as it isolates any tools that are connected from the main power supply. What's more, it can be manually reset.

It’s produced in the UK and conforms to BS EN 60309 standards, complying with reduced low-voltage regulations for your safety. Its housing is made from robust GRP (glass fibre-reinforced polyester) makes it portable.
