In need of a temporary solution for isolating a standard 230 V mains voltage supply? This 750 VA portable isolation transformer from RS PRO is well-suited to building sites and other industrial settings for preventing overloading and reducing the risk of electric shock.

This stand alone unit is housed in a robust, glass-fibre-reinforced plastic enclosure (GRP) that's tough as well as lightweight (the total weight is 10 kg). An inbuilt thermal-magnetic trip minimises the chances of overload. The transformer is fitted with a BS1363 three-pin plug socket.

As part of the RS PRO range, this transformer has been extensively tested by our engineers for reliability and consistency. It complies with standards BS EN 61558 and BS EN 61558-20-23 (safety of transformers and power supply units for construction sites) as well as BS EN 60529 (ingress protection).
