Designed to function with industrial and power tools, the RS PRO portable isolation transformer isolates your equipment from the mains power supply. This provides you with an extra layer of protection by minimising your risk of an electric shock. It's generally found in commercial settings, such as building sites, where it's used with temporary lighting and heating.

This single-phase safety transformer has a 15 A (amp) thermal-magnetic strip in place, to reduce the chances of power overload. It's contained within a vented unit, so it doesn't overheat. The 18 kg device even has a built-in carry handle so it's easy to transport between jobs.

As part of our top-quality RS PRO range, this British-made product has been tested by engineers for durability and consistency. There's a hardwearing metal casing, as well as a tough polyvinyl chloride-coated wire (PVC).
