RS PRO ANSI Thermocouple Connector for use with Type K Thermocouple, Miniature


This miniature thermocouple plug and socket from RS PRO is an accurate and convenient way to connect temperature-sensing components. You can use these connectors to make a chain from the tip of the temperature sensor to the host computer or meter. The male plug offers a quick, safe option if you need to replace a thermocouple and is strong enough to withstand temperatures up to +220˚C.

This plug and socket set has two flat pins. Designed to be used together with Type K thermocouples, the pair's yellow, ANSI-specification colour coding allows for quick and easy identification. The polarised contacts safeguard against incorrect connection. Supplied as a pair, this product can be used to connect thermocouple probes or wire terminals to extension or compensating cables.

Thermocouple temperature sensors are suitable for general purpose use and for a wide range of applications. You'll find them in kilns, diesel engines and thermostats.
