The ifm electronic switching amplifier for Namur sensors is designed for short-circuit and wire monitoring applications. It operates at 24 V DC with an operating voltage tolerance of -15% to +25% and consumes less than 50 mA of current. The device has two channels and provides two digital outputs. These outputs are optocoupler-based, bipolar, and support a maximum voltage of 40 V DC. Each output has a maximum voltage drop of 3 V and can handle a maximum current load of 100 mA.
