RS PRO 230 mm Scissors


Need a pair of heavy-duty scissors that are suitable for industrial applications? These RS PRO scissors have tough handles made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material to withstand constant use in harsh environments. With an ergonomic design, they improve control when cutting and are comfortable to use during long shifts.

The strong, corrosion-resistant blades are made from stainless steel that's vacuum heat-treated to achieve 56 to 58 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C). Bevelled and precisely-ground, the blade edges will stay sharp for longer than in conventional scissors. The fully polished blade surface makes it easier to cut through materials with ease. Use them on cardboard, rubber and fabrics in environments where moisture is present.

Busy production and packing lines, wet processing environments and offices use utility shears. Find them in fashion, textile and furniture manufacturing industries.
