Overview

The Safe Motion Monitoring and Control is the reliable monitoring of machine movements. Many certified drive safety functions optimize the interplay of human and machine. Direction, speed and position are reliably monitored in mobile and stationary machines. This means you can make continuous processes a reality while reducing machine downtime.

The Speed Monitor is a zero speed drive monitor that protects against dangerous movements by safely monitoring speed. It has different safety drive functions, such as SLS (safety limited speed) and SSM (safe speed monitor). In addition, the MOC3SA offers different operating modes: one mode with two independent proximity sensors, or a mixed mode with one proximity and one signal output. The Speed Monitor is connectable to all SICK safety controllers.
