It detects small-to-moderate leakage currents and quickly diverts them to the earth to prevent electric shocks. As short-circuits often develop from leaking current, the product also effectively reduces this risk, to further improve user safety. A high impulse withstand rating of 4kV assures you this unit offers overload protection and will shield you reliably, even in case of significant voltage surges. For convenience, and to keep system downtime to a minimum, the RCD is easy to reset via a simple toggle switch on the front.

This RCD is easy to mount without tools as it simply clips onto a standard 35mm DIN rail.

1492 Series

Allen Bradley general purpose RCDs from the 1492 series. The RCDs have a Type A tripping characteristic and an instantaneous break time. 2 or 4 pole versions available. All the RCDs incorporate screw terminals and can be DIN Rail mounted.
