    Why use an On /Off Temperature Controller?

    Used for monitoring purposes in heating environments, on-off temperature controllers prevent rapid increases in temperature that could cause damage. These controllers are often used where there isn't a need for precision temperature control, but where a system is unable to handle continuous interruptions. A typical example of an on-off controller is a thermostat in a system, if the temperature drops below the pre-set level the system is switched on.
