If a traditional temperature controller isn't precise enough for your needs, you could always consider a PID controller instead. Proportional integral derivative controllers such as this one from RS PRO use a very precise control loop mechanism to ensure process temperatures remain stable when it counts.

While standard controllers can only switch between on and off – leading to overshoots and lag in process temperatures – PID controllers rely on feedback from a thermocouple to make more accurate readings. This means they're much better at responding to sudden fluctuations in temperature, making them ideal for manufacturing applications where this kind of quick response is crucial.

The PID temperature controller is extremely user-friendly, with a large, readable LED display, quick set-up menu and simple three-button operation. The controller comes with an easily installed panel mount. Part of the quality RS PRO range, this product has been stringently tested for safety.
