IMI Norgren Pneumatic Timer, 2 to 10 Bar Operating Pressure Range, 0.2 to 0.4ms Operating Time Range - 04 Series - 04043102000

Ensure you never miss a beat with this pneumatic timer from IMI Norgren. It precisely controls compressed air inputs to boost the effective functioning of your applications and cut time spent on maintenance out of the equation. Prevent trapped signals and the need for resets by nudging the unit between your trip and directional control valves. This keeps outputs at 90% for consistent performance and reliability. The component handles operating pressures between 2 and 10 bar, making it a versatile multi-tasker to have in your arsenal.

0.2 to 0.4 sec duration

• Hardwearing housing effectively withstands impacts in pressurised environments

• Operating times between 0.2 and 0.4ms for rapid responses

• Wide operating temperature range between -20°C and +80°C for use in harsh conditions

Applications

• Factory automation processes

• Railway applications

• Automotive industry

• Medical and dental equipment

Why are pneumatic timers important?

As they're spark-free, pneumatic timers help regulate your pneumatic system in settings where electrical devices are prohibited, such as the mining, oil and gas industries.

How does a pneumatic timer work?

It uses a piston and control valve to precisely regulate the time it takes for air to exit the system.

Impulse Generator

Fitted between a trip valve and directional control valve when it is necessary to eliminate a trapped or locked pilot signal that would otherwise prevent the control valve from resetting. When an input signal is applied, it generates a short duration output signal, which is then automatically exhausted. A further output signal cannot be generated until the input signal has been removed

Will provide an output signal pressure of 90% of the input pressure. The downstream volume of the tubing and pilot chamber of the control valve should not exceed 0.033 dm3. This volume is equivalent to approximately 6.5 metres of 4mm o/d nylon tube

Impulse duration 0.2 - 0.4s
