It has 24 digital and 4 analogue inputs, so it can receive physical measurements as well as inputs from computer programmes. It's practical for use in industrial automation, robotic machinery and the automotive industry thanks to 4 high-speed counters that process data at 60kHz per second. This small-scale unit measures just 120 (W) x 125 (L) x 130mm (D), so it's useful in areas where space is limited. It has an MPI (message passing interface), which allows it to communicate conveniently with other controllers and operator panels.
