This miniature circuit breaker from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range protects your electrical supply from current overloads. If current arcs pass the breaking capacity, it interrupts the circuit to prevent a short circuit that could damage connected wiring. As a Type C device, it trips between five and ten times the load current and is typically used in highly inductive installations such as dishwashers or water heaters. You can integrate it with up to six extra elements – such as auxiliary signal contacts or shunt trips – to add extra safety precautions.

Type C MCB’s are suitable for use in commercial and light industrial applications, such as fluorescent lighting and small electric motors, and are designed to trip at currents between five and ten times their rated load.
