The Screen Master 5mm oval LEDs, from Cree, are designed specifically for use in variable-message signs and passenger-information signs. These light emitting diodes (LEDs) are suitable for outdoor applications where a wide field-of-view (FOV) is required. The Screen Master 5mm oval LEDs offer a wide viewing angle and readability in sunlight alongside an anti-UV material within the resin which reduces the effects of long term exposure to direct sunlight. The LED lamps have been manufactured using an advanced optical-grade epoxy which provides high temperature and moisture resistance, making them ideal for outdoor sign and signal applications.
