RS PRO 180 Piece Steel Metric Feather Key Kit


RS PRO’s steel metric feather key kit is a set of tools to help fasten together essential parts of machines or industrial equipment. The keys are used to allow the movement of various machine elements by connecting rotating parts of a device to a shaft in a gear or pulley.

These keys are of quality build, with a sturdy steel design. They have 600 N/mm2 shear strength to DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, or the German organization for standardization) 6885 specifications for parallel and feather keys. As they're reliable and offer high performance, they can be used in a range of demanding industrial applications.

The key kit includes 13 different sizes from 3 mm (W) x 3 mm (D) x 12 mm (L) to 10 mm (W) x 8 mm (D) x 40 mm (L). Each size comes in multiples of 20, 15, 10 or 5. A nine-compartment moulded-plastic case is provided for easy storage and convenience.
