The Platinum DRAGON family, from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, are surface mount (SMT) Infrared (IR) LEDs. They are in OSRAM's Platinum DRAGON package. The high efficiency IR LEDs offer high efficiency and low thermal resistance. They also offer corrosion robustness. Suitable applications for the Platinum DRAGON IREDs include; illumination for cameras (CCTV), surveillance systems and machine vision systems.
