LAPP High Temperature Wire, 1.5mm² CSA, Unshielded -ÖLFLEX HEAT Series - 51000
When you need to internally wire applications that run hot, turn to this high temperature wire from LAPP. It's a reliable option that can handle heat up to +180°C. Thanks to the silicone insulation, it's protected from chemicals and oils, meaning you can safely use it in contaminated workplaces. A minimum bending radius of six times the cable diameter for fixed applications gives the cables a high degree of flexibility. For enhanced workplace safety, it's halogen-free, so won't give off toxic fumes in a fire.
• Copper core for high conductivity
• Green and yellow sheath colour allows easy identification in your setup
Applications
• Steelworks
• Industrial ovens
• Glass factories
How long is this high temperature wire?
This cable is supplied in a length of 100m. It's unterminated, so you can cut the exact size you need for your job and add suitable connectors.
Olflex Heat 180 SiF
From Lapp, the OLFLEX HEAT is a single core cable with excellent temperature resistance. It features a silicone based insulation that makes it ideal for use in high temperature environments where conventional core insulation will brittle.
The cable has a flexible fine-wire conductor, and is halogen free, ensuring it is suitable for a wide range of applications. It also has resistance to oils, fats and chemical substances.
Features and Benefits
• Temperature Resistance
• Cold Resistance
• Resistance to some oils and chemical substances
• Halogen-free according to IEC 60754-1
• Corrosiveness of combustion gases according to IEC 60754-2
• Flame-retardant according IEC 60332-1-2
• Operating Temperature -50 °C to +180 °C (Adequate Ventilation Required)
• Minimum bending radius 6 x cable diameter for fixed applications
Applications
The Lapp OLFLEX HEAT 180 SiF cable is highly versatile, but its temperature resistance makes it particularly suited to;
• HVAC Systems
• Thermal and Heating Elements
• Furnace Construction
• Generator and Transformer Manufacturing
• Lighting Technology
Which wire types are a better choice, stranded or solid?
Both stranded and solid wire have the same resistance properties but stranded wire guarantee an extra flexibility, resistance to bending and are generally easier to install than solid cables.
Note
These are supplied coiled and shrink wrapped NOT on a reel.
