LAPP High Temperature Wire, -50°C to +180°C Operating Temperature Range, Unshielded -ÖLFLEX HEAT Series - 51001
Use this high temperature wire from LAPP to internally wire demanding applications. Its operating temperature of -50°C to +180°C makes it suitable for use in extreme environments. It's also a safe option for contaminated settings, as its silicone insulation material protects against chemicals and oil. Inside the sheath, there's a single copper core with 19 strands that offers reliably high conductivity combined with flexibility.
• 1.5mm² CSA for wide compatibility
• 500V rating supports demanding connections
• Black sheath colour for easy identification in your setup
• Unshielded type for enhanced flexibility
Applications
• HVAC systems
• Lighting installations
• Generator manufacturing
How long is this high temperature wire?
Thanks to a 100m length, you have the option to lay a long run or cut the cable down as needed.
Olflex Heat 180 SiF
From Lapp, the OLFLEX HEAT is a single core cable with excellent temperature resistance. It features a silicone based insulation that makes it ideal for use in high temperature environments where conventional core insulation will brittle.
The cable has a flexible fine-wire conductor, and is halogen free, ensuring it is suitable for a wide range of applications. It also has resistance to oils, fats and chemical substances.
Features and Benefits
• Temperature Resistance
• Cold Resistance
• Resistance to some oils and chemical substances
• Halogen-free according to IEC 60754-1
• Corrosiveness of combustion gases according to IEC 60754-2
• Flame-retardant according IEC 60332-1-2
• Operating Temperature -50 °C to +180 °C (Adequate Ventilation Required)
• Minimum bending radius 6 x cable diameter for fixed applications
Applications
The Lapp OLFLEX HEAT 180 SiF cable is highly versatile, but its temperature resistance makes it particularly suited to;
• HVAC Systems
• Thermal and Heating Elements
• Furnace Construction
• Generator and Transformer Manufacturing
• Lighting Technology
Which wire types are a better choice, stranded or solid?
Both stranded and solid wire have the same resistance properties but stranded wire guarantee an extra flexibility, resistance to bending and are generally easier to install than solid cables.
Note
These are supplied coiled and shrink wrapped NOT on a reel.
