Need a cartridge heater for warming your water tank to high temperatures? This heating element from RS PRO is an excellent choice for immersion heating. It can be easily passed through a tank wall thanks to its small size.
The element features fibreglass-insulated wiring that's able to sustain temperatures of up to +450°C. Its robust ceramic cap provides protection from vibrations and knocks, while the deep holes in the cap protect the wires against fraying. The nickel-chromium resistance wire is corrosion-resistant, ensuring a long-lasting product.
Heating elements of this type are typically used in industrial environments, from workshops to warehouses. In order to prevent the unit from overheating, it's recommended to use the unit in conjunction with a temperature sensor and control system.
