From Pomona Electronics, this selection of Insulation Piercing Clip have a hardened stainless steel piercing tip, assuring a reliable connection to insulated wires from 22 to 14AWG without the need to cut or strip the insulation. With a spring loaded clamp to hold the wire in place, the piercing needle operates quickly and efficiently, leaving only a small hole that can be easily resealed. The Pomona insulation piercing clip banana plugs are a unique and versatile connection solution for test lead applications.

• 6580 extended length probe has heat resistant PTFE sleeve
• 6405 and 6580 mates with standard 4mm banana plug test leads, with or without safety shroud (e.g. 5907A or B series patch cords)

• Red or black colour coded cap for easy identification
• Rotating banana jack will not twist test lead while the needle is screwed into wire
