It makes contact with 22 to 14AWG wires by piercing through the jacket, so you don't need to bother stripping the insulation. Thanks to its spring-loaded clamp, this tool holds firmly onto the cable to make handling easy. This clamping feature also centres the tip for an accurate connection and accurate test results every time.
