Sensata Cynergy3 Horizontal Float Switch, NO/NC, 240V AC - RSF70 Series - RSF73YNP

This float switch from Sensata's Cynergy3 range is designed to monitor and respond to changing liquid levels in your tanks, containers or wells. It's designed for external mounting, so there's no need for access to the inside of the tank. Thanks to its wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +75°C, it's suitable for use with both hot and cold liquids. For enhanced versatility, you can reverse the switch action by mounting the switch so the float can move upward rather than downward. It's commonly used to activate pumps or alarms in waterworks, sewage systems and food processing machinery.

Features & Benefits

• M12 plug offers easy connection to circuitry and devices without the need for any additional tooling

• Nylon body for durability and corrosion resistance

• Nitrile gasket seal and back nut to help prevent leakage

How does this switch work?

The switch's actuator magnet causes electromagnetic fluctuations as it rises and falls with liquid levels. The corresponding sensor reacts to any changes in your tank's magnetic field and triggers the contacts to open or close.
