PowerCat Cat 5e Patch Leads
PowerCat 'Cat 5E' 4 pair patchcords in a range of colours and lengths
Ideal for high speed transmission systems
Particularly suited for use with Molex Premise Network cabling
Ideal for high speed transmission systems
Particularly suited for use with Molex Premise Network cabling
High performance structured wiring components designed to considerably exceed category 5 requirements for use in the following applications.
100Base - T4
Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base - T)
155 Mbps ATM
622 Mbps ATM
PowerCat crosstalk in a 4 pair system is measured by adding the sum of the power factors (PowerSum) from three pairs into the fourth pair. Traditional pair to pair measurement does not allow for accumulated crosstalk in multiple pair transmissions
Resultant crosstalk performance is considerably better than ordinary category 5 systems. Bandwidth is higher with an improved ACR (attenuation to crosstalk radio)
PowerCat Link characteristics ensures excellent performance in high speed applications (see above)
PowerCat provides all the basic components needed including panel and patch leads. All are clearly identified with red shutters and markers to differentiate connections
Terminations are colour coded for EIA 568B wiring and will accept punch down tool stock no. 472-6740
For PowerCat cable see Cables section
