StarTech NLBL Series Ethernet Cable, 1.5m Cable Length, 27AWG Wire Gauge - NLBL-150-CAT6A-PATCH

This ethernet cable provides a screened Cat6a connection for high-speed local networks. It is intended for installations where reduced smoke and toxic emissions are required and where shielding against electromagnetic interference is necessary. The lead supports 10GBASE-T throughput and delivers power to PoE++ devices while remaining suitable for routed installations in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.

What conductor and shielding arrangement does it use?

It uses four stranded copper pairs with aluminium-mylar foil around each pair Plus an overall braid for S/FTP shielding.

What jacket material and fire behaviour are specified?

The outer sheath is Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH), designed to emit minimal smoke and toxic gases if ignited.

What connector plating and mechanical protection are fitted?

Both RJ-45 terminations have 50-micro gold-plated contacts and snagless strain-relief boots.

How is quality and performance verified?

Each cable is individually tested with a Fluke DSX2-8000 CableAnalyser and ETL verified for Cat6a performance.
