It consists of eight copper cores twisted in four pairs to cancel out electromagnetic interference (EMI) for reduced near-end crosstalk (NEXT). It's used to connect devices such as switches and routers for high data-transfer rates of up to 10Gbps (gigabits per second). How do I connect this Cat6 cable?The cable comes terminated with two male RJ45 (Registered Jack) connectors. Each end has a connector clip that allows for simple insertion into and removal from a compatible port, making it simple to connect while protecting the ends from snagging.
