This component comes in a handy 100 m spool, so it's often relied on by professionals on larger projects. You'll find it in offices, warehouses and labs.

With up to seven times greater connectivity than the older Cat5 cable, you can benefit from data transfer rates of 1 Gbps (gigabytes per second) or higher. The cable is double-shielded with PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and foil to reduce interference.

This reliable LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) Cat7 cable produces low levels of smoke and no halogen when it's exposed to flames, so it's safe in the event of a fire. It's backwards compatible with previous Ethernet standards including Cat 5 and Cat 5e. You can use it with directly linked servers, switches and computer networks.
