The cable uses stranded copper conductors which increase flexibility and reduce fatigue when cables are routed or frequently reconnected.

The outer sheath is Low Smoke Zero Halogen, which produces lower levels of corrosive and toxic gases and reduced smoke density compared with standard polymer jackets during combustion.

There are eight cores, permitting full twisted-pair signalling required for modern Ethernet protocols and enabling all pair combinations for high-speed transmission.
