RS Pro Cat5e Cable, Unscreened PVC Patch Cords

Even though Cat5e Cable is showing its age, the technical capabilities of Cat5 provide 1000-megabit (1 gigabit) communication speed, providing Power over Ethernet.

We are proudly introducing our own branded RS PRO Cat5e Cable designed to connect either to a laptop, PC, modem, router, switch, phone or IP camera. This male type connector has been designed for mechanical and electrical reliability, thanks to the high-quality materials used.

The Cable provides a patch cord solution allowing a consistent flow performance and incorporating design features, meaning it fits all style cord applications.

The low profile moulded boot, and snag-free latching allows the cord to be deployed within the most crowded network installations, including the latest server technology.

Within the jacket, the wiring inside is tightly twisted, meaning the Cat5e is more resistant to crosstalk than Cat5. The crosstalk refers to electromagnetic interference that occurs between cables when they are close to each other. This interference can lead to error in data transmission; therefore, it is essential to pick the right network cable.

Part of the RS PRO range, this Cat5e Cable has been tested by leading engineers so that you can purchase with confidence.
