RS PRO 12 in, 4 in, 6 in, 9 in Engineer's Set Square
When you need to assess the accuracy of your machining work, this collection of assorted engineer's set squares helps with the job. The kit contains four squares in lengths of 4 inches, 6 inches, 9 inches and 12 inches.
Each set square consists of a blade of the specified length, set perpendicular to a thicker base, enabling you to check both the accuracy of measurements and the trueness of right angles. The hardened and tempered blades have been beam-grounded and blade-grounded, then lapped, so they're free from imperfections. That means they're precise and long-lasting.
The set squares meet the British and US standards BS 939 grade B and GGG-S-656E/29 Jan1966, which relate to the quality of machinist squares.
The tools come in a sturdy and durable moulded polypropylene (PP) case. This is suitable for industrial settings and holds each square in place, keeping them organized and safe in transit.
