RS PRO Heating Element, 1.8 kW


This heating jacket from RS PRO slips around your 200 L steel drum to evenly heat the contents to a maximum temperature of +200°C. It's easy to fit and remove as it has quick-release buckles on webbing straps.

The jacket is constructed from a silicone-coated glass fibre cloth with a stitched glass filament thermal insulation layer. The silicone coating is water-repellent and resistant to chemicals, abrasion and tears, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. The heating element itself is made of a high-performance resistance wire, which ensures a stable spread of heat and prevents fluctuations in the temperature.

For greater ease of use, a built-in thermostat regulates the temperature of the heating element. This allows you to adjust the temperature as needed to keep the substances inside the drum at the correct heat level and viscosity.
