The DeWalt DCH253N is a bare unit and comes with a cardboard box only. Battery, charger and other accessories are supplied separately.

Do you stock compatible batteries for this drill?

The drill is compatible with all 18V XR series batteries as well as FlexVolt 18V/54V batteries. Full range of compatible batteries can be found in DeWalt Power Tool Batteries

Does it come with adaptor chuck to take it from SDS to accept ordinary HSS and wood bits?

No, this drill does not come with an adaptor. The compatible adaptor DT7005-QZ is available separately (RS stock number: 707-2829)
