This switch from RS PRO ensures that your doors and windows are closed securely at all times. It's typically used in buildings, warehouses and office spaces, along with access control systems. The alarm contact features a magnetically operated reed switch which notifies the building security system each time a window or door is operated.
The switch housing is made of aluminium, which is highly resistant to rust and corrosion and makes it suitable for installation both indoors and outdoors. The unit has been stringently tested for quality and reliability. A wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C makes this part suitable for use in demanding industrial settings, from cold storage warehouses to hot factories. It complies with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) standards, so it contains only the lowest amounts of any harmful materials.
